Kyichu Lakhang
Kyichu Lakhang is one of the 108 temples that Songtsen Gampo-the Tibetan King of the 7th century miraculously built overnight!
The legend further goes that temple here on the left knee of an ogress in order to subdue her. So, the temple is one of the most revered of the temples in Bhutan.The temple was restored in the 19th century and a similar one was added in 1968 by Ashi Kesang, the grand Queen Mother of Bhutan.
