Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1300m/4260 ft)
Upon arrival in Tribhuwan International Airport , you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel (5 miles, 30 minutes). Check in hotel and after some rest, take a guided tour of 2000 years old, legendary Swayambhunath Stupa , also nick-named as "Monkey Temple" . From here, drive into the city center to visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, the old capital of Nepal where you can see the old Royal Palace complex and a number of temples. Walk through the narrow streets of Indrachowk and Asan vibrant with the activities of vendors and buyers. In the evening, you are invited by our representative for a "Welcome Dinner'" which is organized in a typical Nepali restaurant where you will also observe folk dances of Nepal performed by young men and women in different ethnic costumes.
Day 02: To Nagarkot (6,560ft, 20 miles) Pashupatinath, Boudhanath and Bhaktapur sightseeing
Make a separate pack for one night stay in Nagarkot and store rest of the luggage in the hotel. After breakfast, around 08.30 am, you will set out on tour of the day and visit Pashupatinath Temple, the holiest Hindu Temple on the bank of sacred Bagmati River which is also one of the tributaries of holy Ganges. You can also have chance to see the Hindu cremation services on the ghats of the Bagmati River . From here continue to Boudhanath Stupa , the biggest Buddhist stupa architecture in the world! The stupa is believed to be one of the "must visit" site for all Buddhists in their life time. From here, drive 5 miles north east out of Kathamndu ring road to the Bhaktapur -the best preserved medieval Malla Principality. Bhaktapur served as the capital of United Nepal before it split in to three ( Kathmandu , Patan and Bhaktapur) in the mid 14 th century.From here, we leave Bhaktapur behind and head towards Nagarkot, the road passing through the villages, terraced farmlands. If it’s a clear weather day, you will be already greeted by gleaming Himalayan Peaks. Check in deluxe resort and enjoy the views and vistas from the terraces of the resort. May be in the evening, you want to take a walk to sunset point. Sunsets and sunrise views from Nagarkot are special. After dinner, before you go to bed, set the morning call time at the reception.

Day 03: To Kathmandu via Patan Sightseeing
Early morning, the room service will knock at the door with a warm cup of coffee or tea and he will invite you for sunrise view. Its special and you are not supposed to miss it. If the weather favors you, you will have spectacular views of eastern to middle range of Himalayas. After breakfast, take a light walk to the village and hills of Nagarkot and proceed to Patan. The journey retraces till the ring road and takes left turn from the junction.
Patan is famed as the City of Arts and Crafts . Visit the Durbar Square area where you will visit the main courtyard of the palace, Krishna Temple , Golden temple and many others. Walk along the narrow streets of Patans, abundant with craft shops, silver jewelries, and sounds of hammers and chisel from the craft work-shops.
From here, return to your hotel and take rest or if you want, the driver will drop you at Thamel , the famous tourist hub for handicraft shopping. You can wander about on your own and take a cab back to the hotel in the late afternoon.
Day 04: Departure
Take a free morning for the last minute shopping. Late morning, you are transferred to the airport for your flight to next destination
