Steeply terraced hillsides of rice, corn and potatoes and subtropical valleys with pockets of lush green jungle are all framed by the snow capped peaks of the highest mountain range in the world. The resort rests on 20 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens and is back-dropped by the breathtaking panorama of the Himalaya. Designed with an ethnic theme, the beautifully furbished cottages are made from red brick with thatch roofs to reflect the traditional architecture of the region.

Dinning
On site we have our indoors dinning room and a beautifully set courtyard restaurant from where you can enjoy the mountain views. We have a large ala carte and buffet menu to suit the taste of just about anyone. We also have the Chimney Bar where you can have pre and post dinner drinks. Our dining room seats 80 people and the courtyard up to 350 people. Private functions and courtyard BBQ’s and bonfires can be arranged.The serene ambience and our impeccable service can turn your celebration into a truly special occasion.

The resort has 43 bungalow style rooms that have been built using local products to reflect the traditional architecture of the surrounding areas. We have used rendered red bricks and authentic bamboo and thatch rooms which will make you feel as if you have just entered a rural village. The bungalows are separated by walkways and gardens to give you the feel of privacy. Inside, the rooms are comfortably appointed with double and single beds, hand crafted local style furniture and decorations, heating and hot water, that are Solar powered, tea and coffee making facilities, attached bathrooms and they all come with breathtaking views of the mountains!
The Views
With little doubt, the biggest attraction to Nepal is the Himalaya. People come to Dhulikhel for once in a life time views of the inspiring Himalayan landscape of jagged snow cap peaks. The highlight of any stay at the resort is watching the sun rising and setting, a time when the mountains truly seem to come alive in a dramatic scene of ever-changing colors.
From the Resort’s many view points you can see the mid Himalaya featuring Langtang (7246 m), Dorje Lakpa (6779 m), Gauri Shanker (7145 m) and the Everest Region. The best views are had during the winter season from mid October to the end of March.

Our award wining garden
Our garden is like an oasis of alpine and tropical plant’s, continental flowers and tranquil fish ponds. You can find here banks of Marigolds and Chrysanthemums dotted with colorful Geraniums, English Roses, Carnations and the local Mokk Mhullie whose purple flower is used to make garlands in Nepal’s Tiar Festival. Canopies of creeping Jasmine deliver a heady scent, fairy tale like Bougainvillea’s and towering Bamboo frame this beautiful setting of continental and native flowers, orchids, ferns and fruit orchard.
