Day 02 Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven and Summer Palace.
Following breakfast, you are met by your guide at the hotel lobby around 8:30 a.m. Today, we begin from the Tiananmen Square-the heart and symbol of Beijing and is probably the largest square of the world. The square can hold about one million people for public celebration or gatherings. With the mausoleum of Chairman Mao, The Great Hall of the People and the National Museum of China situated all around, the square is probably the most visited of all tourist attractions in China.
Next we move on to the Imperial Palace, also known as the Forbidden City- the largest and best-preserved ancient imperial palaces group with 500 years history. Built between 1406 and 1420, the palace has gone through several renovation and updates following the fire and attacks, yet stands with glory of all times. From here, we continue on to the Temple of Heaven- the place where the Emperors prayed for peace and harvest. It is located in the southern part of Beijing, and had been one of the most holy places for the whole country for more than five centuries.
Following lunch, we visit the Summer Palace-which is among the largest imperial gardens in China and was used by the emperors of Qing Dynasty. The palace came under attack of British and French troops in 1860.
Late afternoon, we are transferred back to our hotel.

Day 03: Ming Tombs and Great Wall ( Mutianynu Section)
Following breakfast, you are met by your Guide at the hotel lobby around 8:00 am. First we head to the underground palace of the Ming Tombs. From Yongle Emperor and onwards, 13 Ming Emperors were buried in this area. We will visit Dingling-the tomb of the Wanli Emperor-which is the only excavated tombs of Ming Dyanasty Emperors. WeTake some extra time to walk around the mound and get a good look at the site.
After lunch, we will head to Mutianyu Great Wall, which takes about one hour. Unlike Badaling Section, the Mutianyu section is less crowded and is known for its beautiful surroundings - dense woods and rich pastures changing colors with the seasons of the year. The great wall winds its way over 1000 meters to the crest of a mountain before turning sharply and dipping downhill, forming a triangle known as the Ox-Horn Wall, Two unique features of this section are the double battlements and branch walls found throughout the area.
We can hike 40 minutes on the stone steps to the 10th Watch Tower (There are 20 towers in this section) or take cable car straight up to the 14th tower. Most visitors take the cable car up, walk to the left section of the wall which is the most beautiful. This section is mostly downhill and will lead you to the chairlift and the toboggan stations. The tobbogan ride is quite safe and a lot of fun. Cable car ride is optional and you need to pay if you chose to do so.
Late afternoon, we are transferred back to our hotel in the city.
